Two copies of a printed report on the state of Bishop Waynflete’s Chapel in Winchester Cathedral by W. H. St. John Hope, M.A. Dated 2 January 1898. There are also two copies of a public printed letter to the Vice-Chancellor (Magdalen College) from T. G. Jackson (14 Buckingsham Street, The Strand, W.C), and dated 26 Feb. 1909. Jackson reports on the repairs carried out on Bishop Waynflete’s Chantry in Winchester Cathedral. (4 items)

Printed prologue titled: ‘ Prologue | to | Philip Massinger’s | Duke of Milan | written for | The Tercentenary Performance in | Merton College | June 21, 22, and 23, 1923 | by| George Gordon | Spoken by | Reginald Smith | Is. Net’. Enclosed in the program is a hand-written letter to Greene from George Gordon (10 Chadlington Rd. Oxford). Gordon writes of Greene’s command of Latin and Greek and of his own training in classical languages. In a note at the end of the letter he mentions, briefly, the theatre producer Nevill Coghill. Dated 27 July 1923. (2 items).
