Six plastic folders, each containing nine, 115mm x 95mm, black and white photographs taken in the Dardanelles (except for the first folder, which only contains eight and a scrap of paper with unknown handwriting labelling the photographs as those from the Dardanelles, July-August 1919). On the back of each photograph are notes (in Gordon’s handwriting) detailing the contents of the photograph. The number written in red on the back of each photograph corresponds to the number given on the list (MC:PR33/3/1P/1). The photographs are of important places related to the campaign (e.g. landing places, railways, castles), people, graves of the war dead etc.
