Sir Fredric Wise (1871–1928) was the elder brother of Alec Wise, and began his career as a stockbroker. He served as MP for Ilford 1920–8.

A copy of L. Wise (ed.), In Germany, March 1919: The Personal Diary of Fredric Wise (privately printed, n.d.; c. 1928). Wise was Dodds-Parker’s mother’s eldest brother, and was sent to Germany by Lloyd George in March 1919 to report on the state of the country. Alongside a secret report he wrote for the government, he wrote a personal diary, which his widow published. Along with this diary is a copy of Wise’s report, some correspondence relating to is from 1971, and some other related papers [6 items].
