MC:P204/1/5X- Sheet Music
Douglas was interested in music, and played the piano reasonably well, even in his last days when staying with the Colmans (Hyde, p.336). Presumably, therefore, these pieces of sheet music originally belonged to him.

MC:P204/1/6X – A Papal Dispensation, 1601
MC:P204/1/6X/1 October 1601
Dispensation (written in Latin) from Pope Clement VIII to a couple from Perugia to marry, in spite of their being related in the fourth degree.
The reason for this document’s presence in the Colman/Douglas papers is unknown. It is possible that Douglas might have acquired it, or been given it almost as a curiosity because it is a Papal document, without any interest in its actual contents.
