MC:PR35/2/5C Correspondence with Dorothy L. Sayers
MC:PR35/2/5C/1-11 24th Sept – 19th Nov 1956
Correspondence between Dorothy L. Sayers and President Boase regarding some photographs in her possession, some of which feature her father Reverend H. Sayers and others, including Oscar Wilde. There is discussion over the possibility of identifying other people in the photographs, including using the College archives. The rest of the correspondence describes other photographs (a list is included) and discusses the re-photographing and distribution of copies for the College and Vyvyan Holland. Boase has little luck in identifying those in the photographs, but manages to provide information on A. C. Arding (previously Wells), J. H. T. Wharton, G. G. Tombe and J. P. McL. Watters.
