Extracts of ‘Memories of a Magdalen Vagabond’ by J. Carter (Chaplain of Magdalen, 1893 – 1902). The manuscript of this work is quite muddled in its order but appears largely complete. [The work contains his recollections of his time at Magdalen in the 1880s, including figures such as J.V. Roberts (Organist 1882-1918) and aspects of the history of the college.] circa 340pp.
