MC:F33/1/MS6 Papers on the Magdalen Vagabonds
The ‘Vagabonds’ were a group of singers, primarily from Magdalen College, which toured the country singing various concerts for charitable events. Their numbers for a time included John Stainer (Organist 1860-72). Benecke was obviously interested in the group and gave this volume to the college.
