MC:F57/MS6 Personal Accounts of Magdalen Fellows
“Memories of Magdalen Dons” – a personal account of Magdalen Fellows written by Thomas Blantyre Simpson (C.1911–1915) whilst on sick-leave after injury in 1916. A note added in 1950 explains that the work was written at the request of [Charles] Hoffman (C.1913–1916), that [Arthur] Mackworth (D.1905–1910, F.1911–1917) was the only Fellow to see it and that he had several copies printed and that Simpson saw fit to leave the text completely unaltered in this copy. Two other copies of this work can be found in MC:P257.
