Use by University of Oxford members
University of Oxford members will first require an
Oxford Remote Access username and password (you may already have one for VPN usage). You then need to visit
http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/network/wireless/ for instructions on setting up your wireless device for eduroam.
Use by Visitors to Magdalen
Wi-Fi is only available to visitors who are staying in Magdalen accommodation, or who are visiting for official business, not to tourists. You may use existing eduroam credentials from your home organisation if you have them - see
http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/network/wireless/services/eduroam/. Alternatively, if you have an Oxford Visitor Network username and password (for example from a conference organiser), you can use that to connect to OWL - see
http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/network/wireless/services/owl/visitor/.
