Interview response form
You have been invited to attend interview in Oxford and must report to this College for the time we have stated in your invitation email. If, for exceptional reasons, you are unable to attend interview in Oxford, you should contact the Admissions Officer as soon as possible (email@example.com) and you should not complete the form below. Please only submit this form once. If you have changes to make after you have submitted it, please contact the Admissions Officer by email at the above address.
Accommodation and meals will be provided for you at the College free of charge for the period you are required for interview. We regret that we cannot accommodate or offer meals for any accompanying parents. It is not necessary for you to arrive significantly earlier than the report time specified in your invitation email so please make your travel arrangements accordingly. Please be aware that traffic in and around Oxford is always extremely busy, particularly during the morning rush hour, and Oxford currently has some very disruptive roadworks on some of the major routes into the city. We would not recommend you arrive by car and the College has no parking available. If you live a long distance from Oxford and will need to travel the day before in order to reach Oxford by the report time stated in your interview email, please indicate in the appropriate box below that you will require accommodation for the extra night. Overseas candidates in particular should be aware that we are not able to provide more than one extra night’s accommodation prior to the interview report time. We cannot normally offer accommodation on a Saturday night if your required report time is late Sunday afternoon/evening. If you will need an extra night of accommodation at the end of the interview period because of travel arrangements, please contact the Admissions Officer on the email above prior to your arrival to request it. If you wish to make your own arrangements for accommodation over interviews, you should first seek the agreement of the Tutor for Admissions at this College. He can be contacted through the Admissions Officer.
When you arrive at the Porter’s Lodge in the College, follow the signs to the candidate’s Reception area, or ask a Porter in the Lodge to direct you. You should check the interview times on the boards as soon as you arrive, and at intervals thereafter, as you may be required for additional interviews here or at other colleges. Unless you have already been advised in your invitation email of the time by which you will be free to leave, you should expect to be available for interview until the latest time and date shown on the Oxford University interview timetable, although you may be released earlier. If you are booking plane or train tickets and the interview timetable specifies a release date but not a time, you will generally be free to leave Oxford by noon on that date.
When you leave the College after your interviews are complete, please make sure that you have notified one of our student helpers of your departure and that you have handed in your room key.
Notification of the outcome of your application will be posted out by hard copy letter on 10 January and should therefore reach most candidates by 11 January 2017. Please note that we are not able to notify you by email or by telephone. Non-UK students may email the Admissions Officer on the email address above to request a scanned copy of the decision letter.
Before coming for your interview at Oxford you may find it helpful to consult the map of Oxford available on the web at www.ox.ac.uk/visitors_friends/maps_and_directions/ and the general information about interviews at Oxford available at www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate_courses/applying_to_oxford/interviews/index.html
If you have a disability which will require specific arrangements over the interview period, please contact the Admissions Officer in a separate email after completing the reply form below (firstname.lastname@example.org).
