Facilities
We have a range of meeting rooms of varying capacities at Magdalen, from the 160-seater Grove Auditorium to seminar rooms seating 10-50. Use of the Grove Auditorium includes full audiovisual support such as data projection, lighting and sound amplification, overseen by our audio-visual technician. Smaller rooms are provided with a whiteboard or flip chart, and can be equipped with data, slide or overhead projection at additional cost. Refreshments can be served at intervals as required. WiFi is available in many areas, and residents benefit from Ethernet connections in their accommodation.
Accommodation is offered in single study bedrooms. We have up to 65 ensuite rooms with private shower in modern or recently refurbished accommodation, and a further 160 traditional standard rooms which offer a private wash hand basin, with bathrooms nearby shared with 3 or 4 other guests. All rooms are equipped with a small refrigerator, and tea and coffee making facilities.
The College grounds extend to 100 acres including immaculate lawns, beautiful herbaceous borders, a circular riverside walk and deer park.
