The College is normally open to Visitors at the following times and charges:

 

3 January to 20 June: 1pm to Dusk or 6pm (whichever is the earlier)

24 June to 30 September: 12 noon to 7pm or Dusk (whichever is the earlier)

1 October to 20 December: 1pm to Dusk or 6pm (whichever is the earlier)

Closed: Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 June inclusive, and Friday 21 December to Monday 31 December inclusive.

Open on New Year's Day noon to dusk, free of charge.


Charges (inc. VAT): Adults £4.50; seniors, children, students £3.50.
No charge is made for Bodleian card holders, residents of Oxford or holders of Oxford Alumni cards; and one guest in each case.
Price includes leaflet, available in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.

Groups: We welcome groups subject to a maximum of 20 people, larger groups may split. A 30 minute interval is required between the admission of each group. Groups should book in advance (see contact page). We do not accept payment by cheque, cards may be used by prior arrangement only.

General: We welcome visitors to the College during our opening hours. These hours apply to all except those coming on College business. Times are subject to change. You are advised to check opening times on our website or the noticeboard on the High Street. All visitors must report to the Lodge on arrival.

We want you to enjoy your visit, but please remember that throughout the year the College is a place of residence, work and study, and you are asked not to enter staircases, College rooms and areas marked as private. Dogs, except guide dogs, are not allowed in the College. Do not walk on the grass or picnic in the grounds. Random bag searches may be carried out.

National Gardens Scheme The College grounds will be open for this scheme on Sunday 15 April, at the normal hours and charges, there are no card-holder concessions on that day. Please note that the Old Kitchen Snack Bar will also be open from 1pm to 5.30pm serving light lunches and afternoon teas. 

The Last Supper Please note that this painting is away while on exhbition at the National Gallery in London, and subsequently at an exhibition in Madrid.It will be back on view in the ante-chapel from 23 May 2012.

Oxford Open Doors The College participates in the Oxford Open Doors weekend and will be open for this scheme, 12 noon to 7pm, without charge on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September.

Lunches and Afternoon Teas for Visitors

The Old Kitchen is open Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 5.30pm daily for light lunches, snacks and afternoon teas. It is also open on Sundays from 24 June to 30 September inclusive.

Visitors' Shop

The Visitors' Shop (in the Cloister) is open daily from Sunday 24 June to Thursday 27 September inclusive. Items include those in the shop section of this website. At other times of the year those items may be purchased from the Home Bursary during office hours.

Photography, Painting and Filming

Photography, painting and filming for professional, commercial or broadcasting use may not be undertaken without the prior consent of the Home Bursar, Mr Mark Blandford-Baker, only. A fee may be payable in advance of any agreed access and other conditions may apply. Permissions are not normally given in term time.
