Their previous CD, William Byrd: Second Service and Consort Anthems, was commended by BBC Music Magazine (October 2007) as "a benchmark - of interpretation, scholarship and programming"; reviewer Berta Joncus praised the "flawless ensemble" and "radiant boy trebles".

Other recent recording successes include the Choir's selection of music by Orlando Gibbons, With a Merry Noyse, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. Listen Sweet Dove is a collection of choral and organ music by the Director of Music, Bill Ives.

Sir Paul McCartney's newest choral work, Ecce Cor Meum, was commissioned especially by the College for the Choir, recorded by EMI and premiered at the Royal Albert Hall.
