Tutorial with Magdalen Students

The College faces challenging times ahead with cuts in government funding to higher education and greater financial pressure on our student body in the face of increased fees.

The cost of providing an undergraduate student with a Magdalen education is expensive and there is a significant funding gap for teaching. This gap is currently bridged by income from the College's endowment and other income generating initiatives such as conference business. However, as the funding gap widens, the high standards in teaching at Magdalen will be unsustainable without the help of the College's old members and friends.
