Magdalen College is a community as well as an institution, and that community extends far beyond the College’s walls.  Everybody who studies at Magdalen, for whatever length of time at whatever level, is a member of the College for life.  All alumni enjoy certain privileges.

The College is committed to keeping in touch with its alumni, by informing them of any important news, by sending them a regular newsletter and a yearly record of what has been happening, and by inviting them to a wide range of events.  To this end, we take considerable pains to maintain an accurate database of alumni contact details.

In return, a very large number of alumni are kind enough to donate to the College.
