Hichens Awards
Duration: One year
Type: Overseas and UK/EU students
Value: Free accommodation in College for the duration of the course.
Remarks: Up to three scholarships are available per year, chosen by the Economics tutors from applicants who have been accepted to read for the MBA/MFE at Magdalen.

The Mackinnon, and the Tavella Stewart Scholarships
Duration: Initially one year, renewable after review.
Type: Restricted to candidates who have read for their first degree at Magdalen.
Value: Assessed according to individual circumstances.
Remarks: Awarded to candidates with research potential who have been unable, after application, to obtain funding from other sources.

Perkin Research Studentship (from 2005)
Duration: Initially one year, with possible renewal.
Type: For Commonwealth citizen graduates reading Chemistry.
Value: £7,000 per annum, tenable up to three years.
Remarks: This studentship may not be awarded every year.

Student Support Fund Graduate Grants
Duration: Initially one year, renewable after review.
Type: Restricted to graduate students who are already studying at Magdalen.
Value: Assessed according to individual circumstances.
Remarks: A variety of maintenance grants or loans to help graduate students who experience unforeseen need.
